Obituary for Esther Marguerite Fazzi

Esther Marguerite Fazzi
Esther Fazzi age 79 of Burnet passed away August 27, 2014. She was born February 4, 1935, in Chinook, a small town in northeastern Montana.
She grew up on the river on what was called the Missouri Breaks, living in a root cellar that was later enlarged into a log cabin. She was the youngest of six kids. Her dad always said he finally got his brown eyed girl. She loved everything outdoors and enjoyed riding the range with her brothers Jack and Sonny. She went to a small country school and was taught by her older sister Catherine. She and her brother Jack moved to town in the eighth grade. They lived in a small apartment until she graduated high school. She barrel raced in high school and went on to try bareback riding after high school.
She married Jimmie Gilbert and moved to Missouri for a short time. She eventually moved to Colorado in 1959 and lived there for the next 48 years. There she met and married Richard Fazzi Jr. They spent their time traveling and enjoying afternoon coffee at the Silt Café. Esther and Richard would always stop and visit friends and family while on their trips. In 2007 after Richard passed away Esther moved to the Hill country of Texas to be near her kids. While in Texas she made many new friends. Esther became a regular on senior night at Pardners Dance Hall dancing to live bands.
