Condolence: Darlene, Denise and David, I must say that I felt a profound sadness when I read of Gene's passing away. I routinely read the newspaper and am all too often saddened by the death announcement of someone that I considered a friend. Having delivered for U.P.S for 35 years, I developed a genuine closeness to many persons on my "route". But in all those years, there came to be a "special" category of ones whose acquaintance I especially valued. These were ones that I shared my everday feelings and experiences with, ones that I felt were more than customers but rather true friends. Truly throughout those years Gene and Darlene held a spot on that "top shelf". Having retired from the vantage point of driving in their driveway daily, I will always hold the memory of the Israel's dearly! I wish to express my condolence to Darlene and to the Doolen family in this difficult time. Gayle and I are thinking of you. Richard Dull
