Obituary for Joshua Marcus Rew

Joshua Marcus Rew was born May 1, 1982 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Rifle High School in 2000 and shortly thereafter joined the military. Josh served in the US Navy Seabees, NMCB40, for six years. Josh was always a cowboy at heart. He loved punchin' cows with his grandpa Walt Castle and other ranchers that would let him help! Joshua always loved to go deer and elk hunting every year when the season opened, but was most adamant and passionate about his "Yote Huntin'!" Josh was a heavy equipment operator. In Josh's own words most recently, he was taught by the very best, his dad Jerry Rew. Josh had been employed by Trapper Mining Inc. Rewco Excavating Inc., and most recently by Titan Field Services. Joshua was no stranger to hard work. He eagerly was willing to help whenever someone was in need. He would give the shirt off his back if needed at anytime. Josh was quite the jokester and definitely was a storyteller. Many stories have been told about him and there are surely some that will be shared here today. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Walt and Peggy Castle, and many Aunts and Uncles. Joshua Marcus Rew is survived by his beloved Fiancé, Reina, his children Trent, Lance, Raelyn; His Loving Parents Jerry and Sheila, Siblings and Nephews, Heather, Shaun, Jeremy, Terri, Sharalee, Bryer, Trysan, Kyton, as well as Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of Great Friends.
