Obituary for Patricia Joy Rowe
Patricia Joy Rowe, age 80 passed away peacefully September 19, 2021 due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was born July 17, 1941 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to John and Glennice Gershey. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Charles Rowe of Parachute, CO in 2005 and son in law, Dale Thomas Magee of Parachute, CO in 2020.
Patricia was a loving spouse, mother and grandparent. Her love for her family was only outweighed by her love for her Lord and Savior, “Jesus Christ”. She was a shining example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”. Patricia served many years as a chapter lead for the, “Christian Women’s Club” of Colorado. After graduating from the University of Denver, she spent many years working as a Laboratory Technician for the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Dawn Magee of Parachute, CO, son David Rowe Jr. of Portland, OR and four grandchildren, Tanner and Garett Magee and Jordan and Hunter Rowe. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
