Sherrie Lynn Hauck
May 26, 1958~July 28, 2021(age 63)
Sherrie Lynn Hauck passed away in her home. Sherrie was born May 26, 1958, in Munich, Germany where her father was stationed in the United States Army. Her parents tried for many years to have children and she was their only blessing. Her family settled in Colorado where she grew up. The Colorado Rockies was her home and she knew nothing else nor needed to go anywhere else. She found her solace in the mountains. She was a hard worker in everything to which she set her mind! She spent most of her career caring for others. As a Certified Nurse Aide, she cared for the older adults and intellectually challenged with her last position in Mountain Valley Developmental Services Inc., Glenwood Springs. She was the primary caregiver for her mother. She and her beloved husband James Hauck raised her two children (Mike and Alicia) from her first marriage with David Eversole in New Castle. They would always be exploring the mountains of Colorado. Most weekends were spent camping, hiking, boating, fishing, cross country skiing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, among many other outdoor sports. She made life so enjoyable even with very little. She loved the great outdoors, bingo, volunteering with her local church Grand Valley Methodist Church. Sherrie is survived by her mother Lee; her daughter Alicia Fabbri (Adam) and their children Gabriel and Luke; grandchildren from her son Michael Eversole - Jordan, Kylea, and David; and great grandchild Emberly. In leaving this life to go to her eternal home with our Heavenly Father, Sherrie is joining loved ones who have gone before: her husband James Hauck; son Michael Eversole; and father, Edward Wegner. One can only imagine the celebration when Sherrie arrived Home!
