She was born in Montrose to Jan and Bob Collett. After graduating from Glenwood Springs High School in 1991, she became an accomplished hairdresser and massage therapist.

Some of her very favorite things were snowshoeing, snowboarding, hiking, playing musical instruments, taking dance classes, cooking, watching movies with friends, hanging out with her nieces, and riding on the back of her husband's Harley.
Surviving Teri is her husband, Matthew Long; mother, Jan Collett; father-in-law, Larry Long; sisters, Debbie Collett Poeppel, and Susan Roque; brother-in-law, Jere Long and family; nieces, Jasmine Poeppel and Jade Poeppel; aunts, Maxine Wood and Ann (Tom) Myers, and many cousins.
Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held.
Thank you to all who loved our precious, beautiful Teri.
