Services

$1,277 Basic professional services of Funeral Director and Staff

This is the basic charge to each family, which we service for our professional expertise in assisting them. It includes, but is not limited to, a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities, and business expenses necessary to serve the public in a professional manner.
Also included in this charge:
  • Arrangements conference with the family
  • Clerical and administrative services
  • Consultation with clergy, cemetery, crematory, or common carrier
  • Planning the funeral or memorial arrangements
(This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for basic cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

$400 Embalming

Embalming is a chemical process, which provides temporary preservation of the body and eliminates health hazards. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as basic cremation or immediate burial.

It is our experience that most families select one of the following services.

$3207 Complete Traditional Service

This service includes: the services of the funeral director and staff, administrative staff, and professional staff for coordinating and directing the service: obtaining legal documents and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; removal of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary within a 50 mile radius; embalming and/or sanitary care of the remains; other preparation of the remains, dressing, casketing, cosmetizing; equipment and staff for supervising and visitation; use of the facilities for the service or set up at the church or other facility or graveside; automotive equipment; service utility vehicle, and funeral coach.

This service does not include: merchandise selected such as casket, vault, acknowledgment cards, memorial register, folders or prayer cards or applicable taxes.

$2937 Service with Visitation Concluding at Graveside

This service includes: the services of the funeral director and staff, administrative staff, and professional staff for coordinating and directing the graveside service; equipment and staff for supervising and visitation; obtaining legal documents, and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; removal of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary, within a 50 mile radius; embalming and/or sanitary care of the remains; other preparation of the remains, dressing, casketing, cosmetizing; use of the facilities for viewing; service utility vehicle, and funeral coach.

This service does not include: merchandise selected such as casket, vault, acknowledgment cards, memorial register, folders or prayer cards or applicable taxes.

$2950 Service of Remembrance
(Cremation with Memorial Service in Chapel or Church)

This service includes: the services of the funeral director and staff, administrative staff, and professional staff for coordinating and directing the memorial service: obtaining legal documents and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; removal of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary within a 50 mile radius; sanitary care of the remains; refrigeration; use of the facilities for memorial service/ceremony or set up at the church or other facility; service utility vehicle, and cremation fee.

This service does not include: embalming, other preparation of the remains, dressing, casketing, cosmetizing and hair care, viewing or use of the facilities for viewing, and merchandise selected such as cremation container, urn, memorial folders, prayer cards, or acknowledgment card or applicable taxes.

$3965 Traditional Cremation Service

This service includes: the basic services of the funeral director and staff, coordination and direction of service at our chapel, church or other facility, supervision attendants and facilities for visitation, embalming and other preparation, dressing, casketing and cosmetizing, the use of the facilities for funeral ceremony, transfer of remains to mortuary within a 50 mile radius, funeral coach, utility vehicle, and cremation fee.

This service does not include: ceremonial rental casket, casket insert, merchandise selected such as cremation urn, memorial register, memorial folders, prayer cards, and acknowledgment card or applicable taxes.

$1912 Immediate Burial

This service includes: the basic services of the funeral director and administrative staff for obtaining and filing legal documents; removal of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary, within a 50 mile radius; sanitary care of the remains; refrigeration; service utility vehicle; transportation of the deceased to the cemetery for burial within a 50 mile radius.

This service does not include: embalming or other preparation of the remains; viewing or use of the facilities for viewing; funeral service; merchandise selected such as casket, memorial register, folders, prayer cards, or acknowledgment cards.

$2500 Direct Cremation (Without a Visitation or Service)

This service includes: the basic services of the funeral director and administrative staff for obtaining and filing legal documents: removal of the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary, within a 50 mile radius, refrigeration (1 day), and cremation fee.

This service does not include: embalming or other preparation of the remains; viewing and use of the facilities for viewing; funeral service; merchandise as selected such as cremation urn, memorial register, folders, prayer cards, acknowledgement cards, or cremation container or applicable taxes.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition material (with or without outside covering). The containers we provide are cardboard, (If the family chooses to view, the deceased will be shown in the chosen cremation container). **Western Slope Crematory Requires A Cremation Container**

$1950 Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home

This service includes: the basic services of the staff and administrative staff and use of basic facilities; obtaining legal documents, and other paperwork necessary to complete the transfer; transporting the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary, within a 50 mile radius; and embalming.

This service does not include: transportation to the airport, other preparations of the remains, dressing, casketing, cosmetizing, and hair care; casket or alternative container; visitation or viewing, funeral or memorial service; service merchandise; automotive equipment, except as specifically set forth above; transportation to the common carrier; cash advances; other funeral director charges; taxes or other additional services.

$825 Receiving Remains From Another Funeral Home

This service includes the basic services of the funeral director, staff, and administrative staff, minimum care and custody, transportation to the local cemetery and service utility vehicle.

This service does not include: transportation from the airport, embalming, visitation or funeral ceremony.

$200 Infant Services

This service includes the basic services of the funeral director, staff, and administrative staff, minimum care and custody, transportation to the local cemetery and service utility vehicle.

This service does not include: merchandise such as casket, memorial folders, cemetery charges, death certificates, taxes, etc.

Merchandise

We offer many different styles and prices of caskets and alternative containers from which to select. Since many caskets that are similar in appearance may differ greatly in quality and construction, we offer the following information in order to assist you in making a decision.

Protective

These caskets are designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water and other outside elements. They may be constructed of varying gauges of steel, copper, or bronze.

Non-Protective

These caskets are not designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water or other outside elements. They may be constructed of metal, hardwood or wood products covered with fabric.

Disclaimer of Warranty

 The only warranty of the casket or any merchandise sold in connection with this service is the express written warranty, if any, granted by the manufacturer.
